The Northern Wanderers

Happy New Year!

Muse: This is an early birthday present for stagking and I'm pretty happy with the results! It's another northern lights scene much like my earlier piece The Story of Blatqnn - also set in the same universe. It's of her lovely bay paint Andalusian Deodat and his lover - my Andalusian x Fjord boy Hjarta with glass head spikes and a wavy, flowy, long long looong forelock! I really love this background, I think it's my personal best so far. I really have nothing much to say about this except - Happy Birthday to my bud and hopefully I'll have more art coming out sooner rather than later.

Struggles Hair.. That was my enemy this time and I'm not entirely pleased with how Hjarta's tail came out. I'll need more practice with lighter colored hair. Blending the hooves was also a bit of a struggle.
